where i belong

long post ahead :)

I arrived Brisbane Airport safe and sound at 10.30pm Thursday night due to a good delay of 35mins! omg, 8.30 i was suppose to fly off but oni flew at 9 and by the time aunty and uncle picked me up from the airport was close to 11pm! was so tired and restless, jet lag from flights as usual =/ The moment we reached my aunt's place, i dropped dead on the bed...haha it was so warm and nice...had too much sleep, and was so tired the next day :P

Day 1
Slept in and chilled out at home, waited for aunty to come back from work and then she took me on the buggy on a small tour around the golf course...haha tat was really fun...the cold wind blowing against my face...and it was quite cold so mhhmmm :) and then, she tot me how to cook minced meat haha...watched and helped around, so tat i could cook at home with pasta :D then at night, went over to my cousin's place, she has moved into her own place now, with Sarah! Rakes made lasagna for us and had dessert as well...good stuff, and was obviously eating so much :( met her bf too, and he's such a sweetie :) later that night, waited for Sarah to get back and boy, it was really good to see her! I totally couldnt recognize her at first, plus she dyed her hair black now so it was like wow was that the Sarah i met back then? hahaha! also got to meet her bf, although i still prefer Rakes' but that's none of my business, theyre all old enuf to have bf's anyway :P

Day 2
Slept at Rakes place the night before, since it was easier to get around and my aunt's place is bout a good 40mins drive from home so it was way easier if i stayed there, plus I was going to see the Gold Coast today so yipppeee :D I heard that Rakes crashed her car, not badly but tat meant she couldnt drive far with it, and I tot our plan to the Coast would have been cancelled, but thanks to her friend, Jasmine who managed to drive us there, took her time off on a Saturday just for Rakes and me! We left early in d morning, as it took bout an hour to drive from Rakes place...and on the way to Surfers Paradise, we managed to see Dreamworld, Movieworld & Wet & Wild themeparks!! I only managed to see the rides...and how its like, unfortunately I din get to go in, but imma organising a trip wit my friends soon and we're gonna have fun especially in Wet & Wild omg seeing those rides made me crazy i tell u! Surfers is soo beautiful! I love the beachhhh :D its so bloody loongg, cant belif we walked that far from where Jas parked her car to the Q1 building! God blessed my trip with good weather thruout the 7days so it was a beautiful hot sunny day, and the beach was just lovely! :D Suppose to go up the Q1 building but it was so pricey, so din bother...Jas went to get breakfast and den we walked around, i bought a surfers t-shirt for 10bucks :D

And then we headed to harbourtown on the way back! What a shopping adventure I had! It's a place full of shops, similar to DFO but with more shops to look at and not everything is as cheap as in DFO! but still, managed to buy some clothes there for less than 50bucks!!! Rakes treated us lunch and that steak sandwich was super yummy! Yet again, I ate so much that day! On the way back, Jasmine took a route which had to pay toll and so thats how i got to see toll gates in aussie for the first time!! and look how much it is?? *cut throat price* Uncle picked us up from Jasmine's place and I met aunty vasanthi and her husband who were down for the long weekend. Apparently they stay in sydney too and i never knew that! LOL At night, aunty cooked lamb lasagne! so imagine how much I had to eat that day...plus dessert as well?? Some apple crumble with ice-cream and custard omgggg *fats weh* :(

Day 3
Was suppose to play taboo the night before but we were all so tired and since Sunday was gonna b a long day, everyone went to bed early...The day started off with church in the morning, i miss that priest in that church btw :( prefer it to st michael's at daceyville lol...got back and we headed to southbank...what a nice park...i would call it a park since there's not much to see and there's also a man made beach which is very popular...boy, that place was really packed with people!! And lucky we were there on a weekend, as the markets are only on weekends...totally reminds me of pasar malam back home :) walked around, got to see alot things and had lunch at the food court there. Met Rakes and Juno in southbank and they had lunch together with us. We were also entertained with this young guy from adelaide who was doin some stunts and earning some extra cash haha, he really earned so much that day! everyone gave at least 5bucks and more! but he deserved it, i cant imagine someone doin that without practice :P

We had nice hot sun that day as well, so that explains why im always with my sunnies! told u God blessed my trip :D and its just so lovely, especially in the city, I can walk without a jacket! its that warm!!! and people are still wearing sunniess! Back in sydney, u see everyone with an umbrella, almost every other day...sucks isnt it? LOL its been raining much shesshh!! Chilled out at southbank for a bit before heading back, and on the way back made a stop at Mt Cootha...boy wasnt it an expensive trip? Uncle had a speeding fine!! Scenic drives are 50 but we exceeded =X oh well, we surely wont forget that now wouldnt we? :P The view from up there was wayy beautiful! Omg, i could practically see the whole of brisbane, and we had nice weather, so imagine how awesome it was up there!

Headed back and had dinner at a malaysian chinese restaurant, gosh, that was so good! we all ordered one dish, and there wasnt any vege's dishess! there was prawns, fish, chicken, rendang and all but no vege! LOL see how much ive been deprived of vege lately?? i need to eat more vege! need to learn how to make mixed vege so i can have that even if its just plain, if u guys noe me well, u noe how much vege means to me lol...

Day 4
It was a public holiday, means everyone was at home and not working haha...again we were suppose to play taboo the night before but we had a late night, and long day so we postponed it yet again haha...monday was a pretty relaxed day...Rakes had plans so I followed aunty and uncle to have a tour round Ipswich...we went shopping at Orion Shopping Centre first before uncle took us on the tour...it was a short tour off Ipswich...we got to see all the dam's and it was another hot sunny day, so took more pics...very scenic and beautiful...batteries died on me, so had to rely on aunty vasanthi's DSLR which she hasnt send me the pics yet. Must have forgotten about me :( all the lovely pics are in her camera, see if i can get it off her soon!! We had a late lunch, and wen everyone was very relaxed, we finally managed to play taboo! haha, it was really funny....I can never forget those two jokers! reminds me of John & Vivien in RosaMystica prayers every sunday haha!! That was a good round of taboo and then, we just chilled at home before leaving for Rakes place at night. They wanted to see Rakes place and I was to sleep there that night again since i wanted to catch up with Sarah before I left. It was a good night :)

Day 5
Met up with Roxanne!! Omg I missed this girl! I only remember goin bowling wit her at pyramid once and then we were suppose to meet before i left but just din hav time...so there was no chance...and finally I came to brisbane so got to meet up! :D Took the bus with Rakes in the morning, and met Roxy at UQ campus. QUT is prettier la, i love their campus man!! Even their swimming pool is so nice, indoor summore...i wonder if UTS has a swimming pool?? i miss swimming :( We catched the citycat, and then watched a movie at Southbank....one thing bout brisbane transport, all public transport are under the same company...so its easier for us to buy concession eventho we're not valid for the train coz of some stupit train logo...and another thing is, wen we buy concession, say a single ticket, it will last up to 2 hours so we can use any form of public transport within that 2hours to get from one place to another...soo cheap and convenient!!I still cant belif within that 3 days i was in brisbane, and I spent money, all in total I spent 150bucks!!! Omg, that includes transport, food, drinks and clothes! Unbelievable man!!!

Ate at this really nice place in Queen Street Mall food court, hanaichi! omg, the crowd from that place was just crazy that day! and apparently, its like that everyday!!! imagine how much money they make in a day...coz their food is so cheap and nice, i can understand the queue, and plus, other than that place, there's no other solid place available, ie there's subway, oporto's, mcd's and all that sorta fast finger foods, not many people will eat...so that's y hanaichi was packed...Roxy had this boost voucher, where u can buy two for 6 bucks so we both had one boost juice for 3bucks...thats quite cheap, considering the usual price for one is like 5 or 6bucks :P

That was my first time having boost! hahaha, and so, I simply picked a smoothie without even knowing if its nice or not, but little did i know, it was so yummy!! Energy life smoothie!! weee, next time I know what to buy edi :P i hav boost voucher's so im gonna use that to try other smoothies la, but at least i know energy lift is really nice :D Before lunch, managed to watch I Love You, Man...haha, what a silly show :P but hey, it was 6.50 for a movie, aint complaining okay! U cant get that price for a movie here in sydney...the most is 8 or 9bucks =X We hanged around in the city, and I made her shop...glad she bought clothes la, headed back to her place in St Lucia's and waited for aunty to fetch me from there...reached home, had shower, dinner and just chilled out...

Day 6
Met up with Nellyn from assunta!!! haha, wasnt it good to see her!! The fact that we hardly talk in school, and now that she's in brisbane, and once an assuntarian, always an assuntarian right? soo of course I took the chance to meet up with her, plus there wasnt anyone free on that day to take me around so thank god for her :D Im glad she took me to DFO!! Seriously, I dont regret a single bit going there!!! Its so bloody cheappp, some shops in DFO Sydney arent here in DFO Brisbane, and stuff which is in Sydney and are available here as well are wayy cheaper thereee!!!! Like skechers for example, I got a shoe for 20bucks!!!!!!!!! Arghhhh, still cant get over that hahaa! That day wateva I spent was so cheap man....also bought a covered shoe, somewhat like ballet shoes for 10bucks, i was such a happy girl that day, well both of us were :D

Then after shopping there, we headed to this malaysian chinese restaurant nearby...Its called Oriental Restaurant, and im telling u, i will never forget this place! for the discount we got coz Nellyn knows them well and for their cheap and delicious food, I definately wanna go eat there again wen i go brisbane next!!!! So worth it :D Their food is really malaysian style...and looking at the singapore fried meehoon i had, makes me wanna cook it myself now, its good to experiment with food anyway :P and it looks really simple so why not? ;) my mum said by the time i get home, ill be a good cook! hahaha lets see how true is that? XP the karipap that Joshua recommended was so good, and he gave that for free...plus, the drinks, he said he was experimenting fresh juices so he wanted us to try...hahaha, it was our lucky day la! I had fresh orange, Nellyn had orange mixed with green apple....he was so happy we really liked it, and gave him the suggestion of putting it in the menu :)

What a feast we both had seeing from the pics dont u think? gosh, we were so full after coming out from that place....nellyn wanted me to try this really nice ice-cream shop in southbank, after that feast, how on earth was i ever gonna fit ice-cream??? but nevertheless, by the time we reached there, it wasnt that bad haha....so all the way from jindalee we took the train back, walked there for ice-cream, all the waiting and travelling on the train was really crazyy, did all that just for an ice-cream!!! haha, but it was worth it, cold rock is really good :D must have been all the travelling and running that made us digest fast eh?? u must be thinking wats wrong with us eating ice-cream at that time of the day, it was almost dark, 5pm plus and it was coldddd! not freezing but eating the ice-cream made me even colder of course LOL but cold rock cant be found in sydney...and yess there's alot more shops in brisbane which cant be found in sydney, which is sad if u ask me...lets say if i hav a sudden craving from that shop, i cant eat it till i go brisbane next...sighs...diff cities, but sydney is more busy and happening, why dont they hav wat brisbane hass??? sighsss

I made my uncle wait for so long at the train station and i really felt bad...but my aunty was so cool...she just tot i was gonna come back early...lol well thanks to that silly ice-cream and the waiting for transport and stuff held us back if not we would hav got back sooner :( oh well...reached home, had dinner again and then had shower...omgg! SEE HOW MUCH I ATE THRUOUT MY TRIP??? no surprise i put on 3kg's wen i got back to sydney okayyyy!

The last and final day in brisbane was spent chilling out at home and just relaxing...was watching tv the whole day and waited for uncle to get back from golf, and also aunty from work before they took me to the airport...and guess what? wen I reached the airport, found out my flight at 6pm was cancelled!!!!! LIKE WTH????? i had to be moved to a later flight, which was at 8pm and it was such a shame that i had to sit and rot there for 2and a half freaking hourssss!!!! goshhhh....coming here from sydney wasnt so bad, coz it was due to fog that all the flights from sydney were delayed...but going back, they said there was something wrong wit the plane, so thats y they had to cancel tat flight!!! Oni God knows how true that was ><

That's how my trip ended! haha, a picture of a cup of hot choc and a banana muffin for my dinner...to kill time while waiting for my flight =/ reached Sydney Airport, called Vijay and the moment I got out of the car, it was bloody freezing!!!!

Am totally missing the warm and hot weather up in brisbane :(

But its still beareable here, its not that freezing yet, only at night, which really sucks lol

Overall, it was a great 1 week away from Sydney. I got to see Brisbane, catch up with my cousin and meet up wit my friends! Melbourne would be another trip to cover and meet up with almost everyone from msia there haha, cant wait! ;)

A long day indeed :D

ZOMG! this is the BEST place on earth to shop i tell you! Honestly, I still din have enuf of the place that day...already we went late, thanks to me for waking up late...and Nick also had to go shopping in the morning so we all were late LOL practically missed 2 trains waiting for him at Central! haha, but i only had bout 3hours plus to shop! grrr, i really wanted to stay there till 6 but oh well, Uncle & Aunty had stuff to do, so i had to be dragged along :( But seriously, I dont mind going there again wen I have money though! Din really get to see all shops, but I managed to buy boots and a dress, both for less than 100! That's the way isnt it? ;) Comfy boots for winter for just 25 and a dress for 40! What can i say? Fabulous bargain :D spent the day with my best budds from Taylors, Nick & Varsha :) sorry i ditched u guys for dinner, i had no choice la :(

Den headed to my grandaunt's new place in Homebush Bay which is soo near DFO! lucky man, I dont mind goin to DFO everyday if i stay at her new place now! haha, but its gonna cost me a bomb to travel by train so im happy where im living now XP its just a bus, way cheaper than train fares :D waited 2 poor hours, just for dinner...boy i was really hungry! haha, so glad I ate alot tat nite, well Pati was happy :D catched up with Rakes and the rest...was nice to see everyone again...had a tiny wee bit of ice-cream...and den left the house to get ready for my after party! We actually left quite late, and we also had to drop off the movie Rakes borrowed near Strahfield so tats wat took me so long to get home...quickly put unloaded the stuff from the car to my room, showed Rakes around my place and they headed off after.

I quickly got ready and called YuLing to meet up with her outside New College...took the bus and reached there close to 12! pheww, not bad...2 hours late :P but it was still great to see everyone again! not forgetting the CASS people too! :D Had 2 shots! cant believe it, felt really horrible but i really couldnt take anymore after the 2nd one! See, this was my first time learning how to drink shots! haha, seriously, it was crazy! I rather drink alcohol drinks rather than shots, its just too fast and too much at once! LOL well, it was good to experience, and becoz the girls were doing it, had no choice :P left the place wen everyone else was leaving...lucky thing the guys werent drunk! Mo and TJ were still sober to me wen I walked back with them...and that explains why TJ could send me home from his place to my place, haha! ;)

1st stop - dinner

met up with david, anthony and the gang at market city at 7pm. walked to pepper lunch only to find out that it was super full and there wasnt place to fit all 13 of us! ish, really wanted to have a try since I heard its really popular...den another pit-stop was made, just right infront of pepper lunch, hope we werent blocking the walkway though, haha...so we walked, it was raining and it was freezing! seriously, i would prefer the cold weather but just not rain! anything else but rain, wayy better than getting wet and carrying the umbrella around! =X since world square was just near us, and there's quite a lot of food places nearby, we decided to walk to the row of shops next to world square...and we stopped in front of a japanese cuisine...jap food yet again! LOL eversince I came here, cant remember how many times i ate jap food already man! well its cheap and not bad, so yea...din take many pics at dinner, we were all goofing around and enjoying the food..

2nd stop - Noritas Cafe & Lounge

We had 1 hour to kill before clubbing, so what did we do? continued walking around and finally decided to go to this place where they had board games...kinda reminds me of my younger days, and all my board games back home...gosh, i hav tons! and the amount of times i used to play with them, calling all my friends over and played, haha those were the days :) but hey, this place, apart from the nice comfy chairs and the games, I seriously would love to sit there the whole night, and just relax! D fact we had to spend at least on a cake or a drink per person, I would make sure I get enough of that place XP lucky the hot choc was not too bad, for tat price...and boy, i was so freaking full wen i walked out from that place and walked to pumphouse later...gosh, i was kinda forced to buy either a cake or drink, obviously a drink was better, eating a cake at that time of the night is not good and very sinful XD

3rd & final stop - clubbing

haha finally, it was time to party the night away! after dinner, and relaxing much in noritas, it was time to dance! it was about 10plus wen we reached, and it was empty...well, we werent even allowed to enter pumphouse until pass 11, and mamak night at USyd finished way earlier than I expected...due to the rain and stuff i guess, so met Dinesh outside pumphouse hoping I could go back by bus with him but since the event ended early, and I haven even started clubbing yet, I was just standing outside and having a normal chit chat to kill time :) Met the rest of the gang from Insearch, those who din join us for dinner, and went in shortly after. Immediately started taking photos of course, as usual...with me and the camera, with friends and a party, what more without camwhoring XP it was indeed good to see everyone again! and also some guys from MASA who joined us for go karting! what a surprise to see them! and thanks to one of them for buying me a drink that night ;) I only had a few drinks of that *points to title* and I was perfectly fine :)

All in all, it was a great day! Good company & great atmosphere, although the music wasnt that happening...Thanks to David for getting me the free ticket, and to Anthony for sending me all the way home in the cab which must have cost a bomb! owe u guys a lot :)

thursday night, finally got to go ice skating in australia! hahaha, yes, this was my first time...14aud for skating including skates, quite pricey weh! miss skating back home, but then again i hardly skate back in pyramid too so not much of a difference la! glad most of the gang were there...and it was also good to see Lisa again, and Phuong, the only masa member that came, eventhough she stays so far away! Very nice of her, well yes, she is one of the active members i know...apart from henry lol oh well, its sad though, but as my job as a PR, im still gonna do whateva it takes to get members go for events :)

lucky i had the mso gang to go with, was initially suppose to go with Dinesh, Varsh & Nick but 3 of them FFK me!! so had to meet the rest at uni bus stop, and all went together from there...haha it was funny though, after waiting for YK & Phuong at the bus stop, wen we walked in, there was so few people...what happen to the big group we saw at the bus stop? hahaha guess wat? most of dem were at subway buying food for dinner! haha well i can say that was the only outlet open at that time at that place so why not? plus its cheap & healthy ;)

by the time everyone started skating was bout 7.30 ish...at least i had bout an hour plus to skate so not too bad la...with that not-so-tight skates, and very hard ice, it was wayy easier to skate on the ice compared to pyramid! u know how pyramid's ice melts in like less than an hour? especially wen its super crowded, gosh, u just wish u din pay to go in! LOL seriously...and den they smoothen every2 hours...same goes here, but imagine after smoothening here, how much nicer will the ice be?? plus, it was freezing outside, and the weather helps keep the ice cold so its all good :D

shall not say much, all in all i had fun skating and what matters is the company i had that night :) what fun!

MASA's Makan-Makan Night

What a busy FRIDAY!

It was really nice to be busy the whole day again...never been this busy for a long time...especially wen i was back in malaysia, meeting up wit all my friends and catching up with everyone before i left, boy...i miss those days :(

was looking forward to this night for a long time, eversince I took the PR position and i knew i was gonna b busy...i love doing registration, haha...UTS concourse needs plug points! OMG the whole entire place, there's not even one single plug point to plug our laptops! how on earth to study there or do our work? *tsktsk* lucky thing, there was some construction going on and they're working with plug points, so NingJia, being the smart one opened the door wen it was lock and took out the plug point...haha and in the end, we din even put it back! felt so bad using it but anyway, they wouldnt know who used it anyway :P

Thanks to the boys : Edison, JiaLin, Nick Lim & the girls : Shwuch, LiYing, Jas for helping to cook and prepare the food! Gosh, the rendang was so yummy!! If it wasnt for my exam, I so would have learnt how to cook from the guys...i cant cook for nuts okay! im only good at frying or making simple instant noodles or readymade stuff from the can or bottle =X Oh we had sambal egg which was really spicy! but bet everyone enjoyed that, we also had ikan bilis, rendang, rice, mixed vege chinese style and agar-agar! mhhmmm, what a night filled with good food...apart from that, quite a bad turnout i would say...due to the heavy rain and strong winds, guess people who stayed far wouldnt wanna bother coming eventhough there was good food :( so there was too much left over....apparently last year, all food finished, so this time they din wanna underestimate...

if only i brought my tupperwares there, i could have packed back! so much left over man :( save me money from having to buy outside...but then again, my 2nd family, the De Sousa's have already stacked my cupboard with few weeks of food supply so thats not a problem la ;) oh and after the night, Shaun wanted to take me out somewhere to spend some time with me before goin back la haha...but since Junde & NingJia was with us, we decided to follow Junde since his brother was there...we went to Jade Haven to have some drinks, not bad la...wasnt reli in d mood for drinks, but it was just for a while...and i got to hangout with the boys so it was all good :) nvm la, im still meeting up with Shaun next week so tat makes it up for the night :P Btw, we're just meeting up to get to know each other better, so he says...so there's nothing going on between us! *ahem those ppl who r thinking stufff* LOL

well, back to my weekend, I got to spend the weekend at their place right after my exams, haha! great timing I would say...after a long night on Friday, me reaching back late...and sleeping late too...it was great they only picked me up much later coz I only got up at 1 in the arvo that day! haha, quickly had my shower...chilled out a bit and waited for Ana to call me...around 4 they came to pick me up and off I headed home to see everyone again! AH, I just love being around them...throughout the car journey, Ana made me feel badd :( and apparently, I was on her mind the whole entire day since d day I told her I moved from Strathfield to Kingsford!! sighss I so wished I called them, then I wouldnt hav to be staying here and paying my ass off for such a price! *sobs*

The only reason I didnt wan to call them was because I felt bad...how can I stay with them for 9 months? Yes, they're my 2nd family but not relation or anything so obviously I feel something...but they were like omg, im such a silly banana! LOL all the time they were asking why din I call them...I honestly missed staying in their house...especially during winter, the nice fireplace that they hav, and Emily's room, oh gosh, I really wished I called them...and the best part is, just a few days ago, I signed the contract with Aileen! Imagine if I din sign, I could leave now? LOL well after may that is since I paid until then...they even had their grandma's house to let me stay, a big room way bigger than what I hav now...and definately much cheaper than wat I would b paying *cries* thinking about all this now, i just wanna cry :(

but on a brighter note, I can spend Christmas with them! Plus, they invited me to leave the contract about a week earlier, just wen my holidays start so I can move out and stay with them till I move into Uni Accomodation nex year! weeee :D *prays hard that everything will go well when I ask them about leaving earlier* :) now at least I dont have to worry bout having no place to go once my contract finishes! but that's like 6months away so dont worry bout anything now lol...another thing i need to pray for is getting the uni accomodation next year! its gonna b a waste if i pay 80bucks for the application and dont get it, haihs...anyway, am gonna apply for that nex month...gonna enquire some stuff first :)

whats planned for my 3wks break? All I can say is shopping, partying, shopping and more shopping :D cant wait to go those places which r good bargains and go crazy with the winter sales!!! and i need to buy some dresses too! Thank goodness I din buy much dresses back home...its more worth it and prettier here :P speaking bout dresses, need to ask my mum to send my black dress for the cruise party next month! And a few other things la :D boy, its almost 3, better head to Coles to get groceries!

Been quite busy with MASA past few weeks, but due to exams, ive not been attending any events and lucky thing dragon boating was 2wks before my exam if not i would have missed out! am so going back again next year! and it's such a coincidence that International Markets Day got cancelled so we got a free week! boy, wasnt it good to have the free week? My exam was the following week and I totally need a break from events. Just as well, Makan Makan Night is the friday I finish my exam as well, an awesome way to start my holiday...so im glad everything fell into place, yet again :D

So ive been using the free week to study, abothen....plus, the wknd was spent at home with my books...how wonderful isnt it? Little did I know, I got to experience and explore around Kingsford that weekend! hahaha, i knowww...exam is on monday and Im going out to explore...how nice isnt it? seeee what I meant by Sydney being a distraction?? well well, I told myself I could only go if i studied enuf and feel its okay...plus it was only dinner...since I had the whole morning and arvo to study, so why not...I couldnt take it being cooped up at home studying the same thing over and over!! was almost driving me up the wall =X

It was a good thing Varsha's family friend, mum's family friend infact came to Aussie for his sons grad on friday and so was free to take us out for dinner on Sat....I was totally looking forward to eating at Hurricanes, one of their famous places for steaks and beef ribs...unfortunately, the placed was fully booked...and Sat being a wknd, not a surprise to me honestly...last time my friends went there, they had to wait like a crazy 2 and a half hours just to get in =X So since tat was full, he took us to the entertainment quarter, where fox studios is which is in Kingsford...not technically but its nearby la :) haha fox studios near my place! damn cool yo ;)

at least we went somewhere nearby so i wasnt complaining, besides, i expected to be having a big feast that night, so wherever was fine by me XD i finally got to meet the family, whom Varsha was telling me about as they were the ones who helped her move around Sydney and stuff so yea, we went to this place which had mango beer! hahaha omg, seriously...this is the first time in my entire life, yet again, drinking beer :P BEER! OMG, i never ever tot ill drink it, but this was heavenly! Mango is mixed inside of course, but it still has the taste of beer...but hey, first time so abit jakunfied XP i din have any other alcoholic drinks that night, so i was purely sane! only thing is, the food portioning is just out of this world! Varsh & me had like 3 dishes to share, and obviously we couldnt finish! felt quite bad though, hate wasting food :(

what a feast I had that night, omg! but it was fun meeting the family...a husband and wife with 5 sons and 1 daughter who is in form5 now and only coming to Aussie next year after SPM, wow! but all the boys are wayy older than me! felt weird at first, but this made me think bout how I used to hangout with Leon, Kenny & the gang who r around these boys ages as well, so there's no reason for me to feel different...yes, i admit they r way older, but hey, what matters is they r really nice boys and being older, is an advantage...having them around, 4 bodyguards around me hahaha XD and they told me to find them anytime wen i have nothing to do, since I know where they live now, i can just walk over...speaking bout that, the uncle invited us over for dinner the nex day to his place...his wife was gonna b cooking and so he wanted us to come over...

and thats how i found out where they live, and also got a chance to see those apartments...always passed by but have never been inside...what a huge balcony they have...its so beautiful and romantic to sit outside at night wen the sky is so dark and see the pretty stars in the sky, what blisss :D din mind just sitting out there and staring at the lighted city and the starry skyyy :) too bad my balcony is a sun room, so cant see anything outside LOL oh well, next time wen im bored and want to catch a movie, i know who to find hahaha ;) and that night, their whole family knew i had exam the next day, and so everyone wished me good luck...hahaha, such a fun bunch...i can imagine how CNY would be like for them, lots of $$$$ though :P

what else has been happening??? oh oh! i cant wait to watch 17again! yes, abit outdated here *sobs* exams r such a burden i tell u! practically everyone has watched it already...mayb i shud just dwld and watch at home by myself since i have the wonderful internet speed lol...wat else is nice? atm, nothing really nice showing though...cant wait for Harry Potter 6 in july!!!!!!!!! the trailer is just oh-so-awesome! hope the movie wont b much of a disappointment, have read the book twice! LOL and omg, hav u guys watched star trek yet??????? its the best movie man!!! the best thing is I got to watch it 2wks before the release date! haha beat that :P thanks to greater union, being a cinebuzz member! woohoooo....its free to be a member, and I simply entered the competition just for fun, little did I know, varsha & me got a email saying we have both won a double pass each to the screening! like wth??? hahaha omg, thats also my first time watching a pre-show...see how many things ive experienced in the 4 months ive been here? amazing i tell u :D

i need to go shopping soon! i have 2 wknd's before i fly off to brissyy! so better make use of it ;)

I love the experience...30aud for the session is soo worth it but there's always the catch to these kinda promotions isnt it? cmon, theyre professional make up artiste, and if dey dont charge you for the prints, how are they gonna earn money isnt it?? well, guess how much is the print costing??

crazy pricing? tell me bout it! Its so not worth it, but think bout it, its a once in a lifetime thing...ive never done this professional makeup before, and seriously, i must say there r really good, i love all 21 shots taken by the photographer at Starshots! Amazing, amazing, amazing :D If only I could buy a copy of all, and I can only get a copy if i buy a min of 6prints, which would cost me a whooping 1170aud!!!!! Where on earth can I afford that money??? :(

All I can say is, I dont mind using my own money from the money I earned at sushi king, so 1 print...another print ill sneakily take from the money my mum sent....so thats 2...thinking of getting another 2 since im gonna apply for a job soon, so it will be easy to earn back the money i spent for these 2 extra prints...so which means 4 plus 1 free, so 5 shots...yes, i know if i pay for another 2 more, i can get a CD plus an album for all my photos...and one things for sure, im definately not gonna b doing anything like this again in the future...i dont mind being someone's model since ive already got the experience from this so all the pictures might actually be worth it :) although its sooo expensive, but it was good to experience it once in my life :)

driving a go kart

thanks to this, my whole body is aching now...my back, my arms and even my legs...just as i tot i was gonna get better, it got worse!! my legs is a bit swollen up and my arms are just so painful! its gonna take me a few days till i can walk straight again man :( each time i get up from bed, i feel numb, and start limping *sobs*

but heck, it was an awesome experience...

note: if you do not have a driving license, please do not drive the kart!

seriously! it helps alot if you know how to drive a car...not like driving a kart is similar to driving a car, but it still has a somewhat steering wheel so it does help especially in controlling the kart...also, playing daytona at the arcades does help too...basically, if u have driven using the steering wheel be it a car or games, as long u know how to control is the main thing la...there was this one girl in our all girl race that has never driven a car before, she doesnt even hav a driving licence to begin with, and thanks to her, im aching all over! Our first heat, I literally banged my kart into hers...and before the race, she told everyone to be polite and civilise when driving but look whose talking?!?!? i was driving right behind all along and was going rather fast, and suddenly way in front she muz hav lost control and den i banged her! like wth?!?!

the impact was hard and painful! omg, so wont wanna remember that moment again! and that made me last! bloody hell...i was actually driving so smoothly at first and after tat bang, i was last! at least the 2nd heat was way better...i was practically accelerating all the way and i noticed it wasnt that easy for the girl behind to overtake me who was pratically following quite closely behind until a small mini bang in the middle...both the races, kudos to shwuch! she was just the best among all the drivers!!! super consistent, driving at full high speed! something that i learnt from her as well as the guys...feedback from the guys that our 2nd heat was really GANAS! hahahaha ;)

and another "exciting" thing for the guys who were our audience, my 1st heat, i wore this really big helmet...the guy looked at my face and tot an S size would fit perfectly...he even smacked the helmet a little to see if it was loose or anything, but i wonder why din he realize it was soo big for me!!! seriously weh, especially after that bang, the helmet kept falling off! and it was soo hard to drive! hard to see the track, and each time i passed the guys, i could hear sound effects!!! LOLS felt so embarrased, but i kept them entertained =X Lucky thing, I saw an XS size and wore that nice and tight for my 2nd heat...so all the more i was driving at high speed :P Heck, that felt GOOD! :D At least i came in 3rd or 4th...from last XD We reached there pretty late, so by the time i got home and had to shower coz needed to keep my hair clean for my photoshoot the next day, so i washed my hair and by the time i slept was bout 2.30!

What a long night! Had 2 rounds of go karting, yummy sausages and beef, and transport there and back with a party on bus, which made us karaoke on the way back, all for 75aud is definately soo worth it! totally dont regret a single bit going for it :D for a first timer at this, it was all worth it :) and it was fun being around these people...Like ive said before, or maybe not, I just enjoy being around with them...crazy amount of fun and weird moments we have! and the best part is we're all malaysians so its good :D
